in 2018 I produced and cowrote a song with the legendary AMERIE, titled “4thelovers.” This was Amerie’s first time dropping music in over 9 years. The R&B songstress dropped a double album, “4AM In Mulholland” and “After 4AM.” 4thelovers was the first song on ‘After 4AM’. Rolling Stone Magazine declared Amerie’s classic 2005 hit single “One Thing” as one of the Top 100 songs of the 21st Century. I couldn’t believe that we were on the phone discussing what the current record needed. We completed the song about a week before the album dropped. EPIC! The albums received love from Top music enthusiast and one of my favorite R&B artists of all time, MAXWELL. What did Kanye say, “uh uh, you can’t tell me nothing…” Crazy moment.
